Pendant «Dove».

The dove is a symbol of peace, truth, innocence of love. The dove recalls the Great Flood, when the Lord intended to destroy the world He had created, but for the sake of the righteous Noah and his family spared it. Then the dove brought Noah an olive branch as a sign that the wrath of God had ended. In the form of a white dove the Holy Spirit, the third hypostasis of the Trinity, descended on Jesus Christ at His Baptism. The Holy Spirit did not become incarnate as a dove, but by its symbolic appearance indicated His presence and pointed to the coming reconciliation of the world with God.
