Bead «Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom».

The large round bead is dedicated to the holy spouses Peter and Fevronia, patrons of family and marriage. On the day of their memory a feast is celebrated – the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity (July 8). The holy right-believing spouses Peter and Fevronia ruled as prince and princess in the city of Murom at the beginning of the 13th century. The spouses lived in love with God, people and each other, long and happily. In their life there are no monastic or martyric feats. Nevertheless the Church glorified them as saints. Because it is very difficult to preserve the purity of marriage, love for God and fidelity to vows throughout one's whole life: in persecutions, poverty, illnesses, in temptations of wealth and power – and to present an ideal model of Christian marriage.
