Bead «Holy Blessed Matrona of Moscow. Prayer».

Blessed Matrona was born in 1885 in the village of Sebino in the Tula province, in a peasant family. She was born without eyes, and in her seventeenth year her legs suddenly failed. But deep faith and the feat of prayer gave the infirm cripple great power to heal and console people and to help with advice, making her an all-Russian elder. On May 2, 1952 the blessed one died, bequeathing: «All, all come to me and tell me as if I were alive about your sorrows, I will see you and hear you and help you». Her memory is celebrated on May 2 (April 19), September 3 (August 21), October 5 (September 22). On the opposite side of the item is placed the text of the prayer to Blessed Matrona: «Holy servant of God Matrona, pray to God for me, a sinner».
