Bead «Rose Garden».

The jewelry bead is decorated with a magnificent ornament of rose flowers, splendid in its beauty and elegance. Traditionally, flowers have always been perceived by man as a precious gift of the Creator and endowed with all kinds of symbolic meanings. In the Christian tradition floral symbolism was especially developed in the Catholic West. But in Orthodox culture too, many flowers and plants had their own stable symbolism. The rose was traditionally associated with the Mother of God. It was believed that the «queen of flowers» was created by God without thorns as an image of perfect chaste purity and the beauty of righteousness. But after the Fall, as a sign of the damage to creation, thorns appeared on the beautiful flower. The Mother of God became the «Good Rose», the rose without thorns.
