A fragment of a prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos in Church Slavonic is placed on the small bead: «We have no other help, we have no other hope, but Thee, O Lady, help Thou us, we hope in Thee and boast in Thee, for we are Thy servants, let us not be put to shame». Translated into modern language the prayer means: «We have no other help, no other hope, except Thee, O Lady; help us, we hope in Thee and boast of Thee, for we are Thy servants, may we not be put to shame».
