This elegant pendant is dedicated to the holy spouses Peter and Fevronia, patrons of family and marriage. Their life story contains no monastic or martyric feats. Yet the Church glorified them as saints, because it is very difficult to preserve the purity of marriage, love for God, and faithfulness to one's vows throughout one's whole life - through persecution, poverty, illness, and the temptations of wealth and power - and to be a perfect example of Christian marriage. The icon of Peter and Fevronia, tenderly inclining their heads toward each other, is surrounded by ornamental daisies - a symbol of family happiness. In their hands the saints hold two doves - a symbol of fidelity and true love. On the reverse is written a prayer: "Holy right-believing Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia, pray to God for us sinners."
